Have a Voice - Hear & Ask Questions - The Different Proposals Representatives oflocal river groupswill present and lead the items and invite Q and A conversations on: Thames Waters proposed Teddington Direct River Abstraction (TDRA) led by Ian McNuff, Save Our Lands And River (SOLAR) - this summer the big consultation is on for this proposal to extract river water and replace with treated effluent just upstream of the weir The River Thames Scheme(RTS) led by John Adams (River Users Group, Teddington Stretch) - this project will draw more flood water to this stretch and next year the Environment Agency/Surrey Council project plan to start major works to build more weir gates at Teddington Mayor of Londons mission for a swimmable river- a positive initiative to improve our amenity and river water quality in the stretch above the weir Mayors for a Drinkable Thames a new initiative for the benefit of both river users and wildlife from river-fronting boroughs from Hounslow to Runneymede Chaired by Andy Weston, Teddington Society Tickets are FREE, everyone welcome, but you must register for a seat.
