A classic farce by Nobel Prize-winning playwright Dario Fo, full of mishaps, misunderstandings and mayhem. A burglar is interrupted whilst at work when the homeowner returns unexpectedly with his mistress in tow. The burglar is forced to seek refuge inside a grandfather clock, while an array of increasingly confused spouses and lovers arrive. Before he knows it, the burglar apparently the only one not having an affair is forced to pretend to have multiple wives. If that wasnt complicated enough, things take a turn when the burglars wife joins the party...
