Young Comedians from the FREE Comedy Workshops perform alongside MC Michael Akadiri. Komedia Productions in partnership with Brighton Dome Comedy Festival are running FREE Comedy Workshops for young people ages 11-16. Across the weeks, the comedians will look at how material is developed as well as gaining an insight into marketing a show and behind the scenes roles. Led by local comedian Tom Veryzer, the workshops will focus on a range of elements such as exploring different comedy styles including stand-up, improv and character comedy, developing writing skills, building confidence techniques, observing, questioning, and experimenting with ideas.
