Time and Time Again

The greatest strength of this production lies in its warmth and optimism.' - London Pub Theatre Magazine
Best friends Becca and Zoe have known each other for 20 years. They share an idyllic childhood in Hong Kong, but as Zoe begins a new life in London, conflict arises as their paths diverge. How do we maintain a sense of belonging as we advance in life? What makes a friendship thrive despite time and distance?
Set in a socio-political backdrop of increasing restrictions on migrants in the UK, 'Time and Time Again' explores themes of privilege, migration, and the conflict between adapting to a new culture while holding onto ones roots. It asks what we are willing to give to keep old ties alive. This show is developed by international theatre makers Ioana Pitic, YY Yong and Stephanie Renae Lau, inspired by their own experiences as migrants trying to hold onto home and celebrating the friendships that make them who they are today.
