Ann Widdecombe will talk both about her life and her writing.
Few politicians are as well known or well liked as Ann Widdecombe. Known for her forthright no-nonsense approach to both politics and life, she also exudes a sense or fun which might explain her popularity.
A former Conservative party Minister and MP, she now campaigns for The Reform Party, but is most recently known to a whole different generation, after partnering with Anton De Beke in Strictly Come Dancing. A regular on television including Celebrity Big Brother, Ann, has frankly had an extraordinary life.
She has published four novels and her autobiography Strictly Ann, was a Sunday Times bestseller. If you book for this talk, do expect outspoken and forthright views from a singular personality.
