Hunter Davies The Beatles and Me
Hunter Davies is not only one of our most accomplished journalists, and author of more than 100 books, but also the only person to have been approved, by Brain Epstein, to write a biography of the Beatles. A friend of all the fab four, he will discuss this relationship since the 60s and their ongoing legacy, as well as his forthcoming new book Get Back. Hunter is the former editor of The Sunday Times magazine, and amongst many other things, has also written a great number of sports books, including assisting in the writing of books by Wayne Rooney and Paul Gascoigne. This event will also feature a never-seen-before ten-minute film of Hunter, on holiday in 1968, with Paul and Linda McCartney. If you are a Beatles fan, this is going to be very special.
