TouchDesigner with Femi Da Costa

In this workshop designed for beginners, multimedia artist Femi Da Costa will introduce us to the basics of TouchDesigner: a visual development platform used to create real-time projects, such as installations, 3D projections, live music visuals and VR worlds. By the end of the session, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge of the software to continue exploring and experimenting on your own.
Femi Da Costa is a multimedia artist whose work explores the intersection of technology and sound. Her work covers topics such as how we experience sound through our senses and whether we can visually interpret a memory or recall one.
Femis focus is translating these themes into captivating visual experiences, which she combines with her interest in the complex systems of the natural world. Femi frequently collaborates with music producers, venues, and other artists to bring narratives to life through dynamic and immersive visuals using creative code and TouchDesigner.
This event takes place in The Lab in Studio/Lab on the Third Floor of FACT.
