Garden & Ground Tour of Worcester Cathedral
Date & Time start/end: Thursday 16th April, 2pm to 3pm (please arrive by 1:45pm to allow for payments to be taken).
Admission: 5.00 members 8.00 non-members - payment at Cathedral desk
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Worcester Cathedral from a different angle - outside! On this tour you will visit the Old Bishops Palace Gardens which are normally closed to the public. The tour also includes seeing the medieval ruins of the old Guesten via the Cloisters central garden. The tour will cover some of the planting and plant mythology as well as finding out more about the Cathedrals history including the former monastery on site. The tour will be led by Liz Demaison (Cathedral gardening volunteer & Worcester Civic Society Executive team member) and Michael Brown, a very experienced Cathedral guide.

Event facilities and restrictions: Flat shoes or low-heeled footwear will be necessary. The tour will take place come rain or shine but if the weather is too severe a final judgement will be made on the day by the Guide/Vergers. There are toilets and a caf on-site.
Please come to the Cathedrals North Porch entrance (Main Entrance) opposite the High Street.
