A one day introduction to chronic oedema workshop Course attendees must be professional registrants of the NMC or equivalent, and already be confident and competent in lower limb management including doppler assessment and wound management Develop an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, chronic oedema and lymphovenous disease Increase knowledge of primary, secondary and chronic oedema Understand the use of compression therapy in complex patients Examine the evidence supporting various treatment modalities Develop practical skills and the confidence to use these treatments This is being held face to face at St Joseph's Hospice, Mare street, Hackney, London E8 4SA
