This year sees The Trapdoor Theatre School celebrate 20 years of theatre training for children of all ages in Eastbourne. From humble beginnings with a class of just 16 students, Trapdoor has grown into a hugely popular, happy place for youngsters to develop their creativity and performance skills, whilst making life long friendships and having the best time together!

20 years on and the school is thriving and plays host to over 130 students each week aged 3-18 ! Our celebratory show includes some of our favourite Trapdoor moments over the years and special performances from our youngest Teenies right through to our oldest students and alumni.
