We reserve the right to search all bags upon entry, any alcohol not purchased on site will be removed. This months concert celebrates the wonder of Northern Lights. A programme of music by Scandinavian composers, including Andante con Moto in C minor by Edvard Grieg, May Night by Selim Palmgren, Inga Lartum-Liebig: June Night, Laura Netzel: Serenade, and works by Elfrida Andre, Carl Nielsen and Niels Gade. Trio Paradis consists of Jacquelyn Bevan (piano), Ruth OShea (violin) & Linda Stocks (cello) who play a Caf Concert at the Athenaeum on the first Friday afternoon of each month at 3.00pm: an informal music event in the community, with a pop-up caf serving home-made cakes, where you can meet friends for a chat after the concert (c3.45 - 4.15pm) Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection.
