Tythe: All Night Long Dj Set
This event has been archived!

Based in Margate, UK, TYTHE is the moniker of producer and DJ, Jules Peck. With 20 years of releases under different guises, as well as collaborations -- including FETE, whose Balearic releases have been championed by Keinemusik (Essential Mix) and Black Coffee (Boiler Room) -- Peck has honed a versatile and accomplished production style. His music has garnered praise from the likes of Clash, Mojo, and Uncut, with his debut LP "And Also With You" hailed as "one of the most understated and confident albums of the summer" (Clash, 9/10). His remixes as TYTHE include tracks for David Lynch, Crystal Fighters, Zola Blood, and Ten Fé, and he has performed at festivals such as, Glastonbury, Bestival, Secret Garden Party, and Wilderness
Today, Peck continues to explore a broad sonic palette. His eclectic monthly Margate Radio show spans Modern Classical, Broken Beat, Neo Soul, Slacker Indie, and future-gazing Electronica. Inspired by his discoveries, his own more recent singles, 'Seeds ft. Natalie Slade', 'One ft. Isabelle Mettle', and 'Seek/Rope' have also mined a more complex seam, guilding the familiar, emotive TYTHE electronics with live percussion, horn, and string arrangements.
Dependent on the crowd and the cocktail menu, a mix could melt into a stew of cosmic edits, light up into a leftfield Disco, stumble into the wonkier realms of piano house, or erupt with Leon Vynehall levels of chaotic spewing lava.
Equally, he could just play Prefab Sprout all night.
