Following the popularity of our first repair and maintenance workshop, this second full-day session turns its focus to vibrating shuttle sewing machines, including the much-loved Singer 127 and other machines of that type.

Suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike, the day will explore how to use, care for, and maintain these robust and characterful machines, helping you better understand how they work and keep them running well.

Throughout the day, well explore essential maintenance techniques, including cleaning, oiling, timing basics, and troubleshooting common issues. Well also look closely at the construction and mechanics of the Singer 127, giving you the knowledge to care for your own machine and keep it stitching beautifully for years to come.
