The local Wakefield choir is run by vocal coach Ainjiel-Shaolee Clark. Over the past few years Rock Choir has entered British people's hearts with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and emphasis on supporting local communities. With performances at prestigious national venues such as the O2 arena (which we sold out!) and sporting events such as the 2012 rugby league final at Wembley Stadium which featured 1,500 choir members! - you too can have the opportunity to be a singing star!

You've probably heard us singing in and around West Yorkshire, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Wakefield Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award [https://rockchoir.com/awards-achievements/]. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
