This is a walk around the medieval town of Bishop's Waltham, with architectural information and tales of residents along the way. Bishop's Waltham was a planned medieval town whose prosperity has ebbed and flowed. Starting at Bishop's Waltham Museum in the Palace, the tour will take you past the Norman church, medieval shops and Georgian houses, pointing out the historic cores of many re-fronted buildings. Along the way you'll hear about the characters who lived here, and the major upheavals of the 20th century.
