Join local Botanical Artist Ali Walker for a full day as she instructs you in the art of drawing plants from life in Mount Stewart’s beautiful gardens. We will begin with a garden tour led by Rob Wilson, Assistant Head Gardener, during which you can watch out for a potential botanical subject.
After a short lunch break where you can avail of the delicious menu in the Mount Stewart Tea Room, Ali will demonstrate basic botanical drawing techniques that you can use to illustrate your chosen flower or plant.

This is a 5 hours workshop with a short break included. Drawing materials will be provided.

We will be working outside and hoping for good weather, however please come prepared in case of rain!
