Wavves is an American noise pop band formed in San Diego, California, in 2008 by Nathan Williams. Initially a solo recording project, it quickly evolved into a full band with the addition of a touring drummer and later, other musicians. Wavves is known for its lo-fi, surf-influenced sound, often described as a blend of noise and pop elements.
