Wells Cathedral School music department presents an evening showcase of talented young musicians, supported by Wedmore Festival. We are proud to support the Wells Cathedral School Music Department as they present an evening showcase of 6 talented young musicians performing on flute, piano, violin and voice. Wells is one of only five specialist music schools in the UK offering specialist education for gifted and talented young performers and supported by the DfE Music & Dance Scheme. All of the performers in this concert are in their upper sixth year and preparing for music conservatoire auditions so will be presenting their audition programme. Last year's concert in Wedmore was a huge success and previous performers are now taking up scholarships at conservatoires. This is no ordinary school concert, expect exceptional musicianship and professionalism! A licensed bar will be available. This event is kindly sponsored by Woodbury Insurance of Cheddar.
