Introduction
Take on this exciting challenge and join colleagues & suppliers, family & friends to walk the 21 mile enchanting route from Tebay Services to Rheged. Taking in Shap, Bampton, the glorious Lowther Valley & Askham, this walk is to help raise money for our wonderful mental health charity, Growing Well (Tebay) . 100 beneficiaries from Eden and the North Lakes attend Growing Well each week for a year to support their recovery through growing veg to supply our Tebay farm shop and Westmorland kitchens. It has for an amazing 68% success rate for the full recovery of its beneficiaries.

This sponsored walk is a fun way to get fit, a memorable day out with colleagues and friends and a chance to raise money for a great cause. We will support you every step of the way from fund raising tips to smash your target to professional training advice and well organized support on the day.

Organized pit stops at Shap, Bampton & Askham with snacks and refreshments and a hot meal waiting for you when you finish, will help you over the finish line

Win Win:
All colleagues taking part in the walk will receive a full days pay and you will be presented with a medal at the finish line

If you are struggling just shout and we can give you a hand. There is a registration fee of 25 to cover the cost of health and safety support, and pit stop and loos. Once you are signed up we will send you training advice and fund raising tips to make it as enjoyable as possible

Location:
The walk will start at the Westmorland Hotel. We recommend that colleagues either get a lift to Tebay or car share leaving a car at Rheged and one at Tebay Services North.

Shuttle Bus:
There will be an option at the point of registering, to book a seat on a shuttle bus to take you from Rheged to Tebay. A small charge will apply.T shirt and MedalWhen signing up, there will be option to buy a medal and teeshirt specially designed for this event.

Kit List
You will need to be prepared with comfortable walking boots or all terrain trainers, breathable socks, weather appropriate layers, waterproof clothing, hat and gloves if cool or windy, trousers or leggings (not jeans) a small daypack, refillable water bottle as there will be refill stations along the way, torch, high energy snacks such as flapjack, bananas, energy bars, mobile phone fully charged, emergency contact number provided by the organizer, tissues, blister plasters or compeed.

Supporters:
Family and friends can meet you at the finish event at Rheged and cheer you across the finish line. However they will not be able to accompany or meet you at any of the pit stops

Dogs
If you want to bring your dog on the walk, this is fine but they must be on a lead at all times and they are your responsibility so you need to be confident that they can make the distance
