Cornwall-based What Now Productions is proud to be offering the world première of Nick Bamford’s new play Junkies along with a double bill of monologues inspired by Shakespeare. JUNKIES is a gay age-gap romance with an edge which discovers that addiction comes in many guises. A young man who needs money dates an older who has more than enough. As their relationship develops it becomes clear that they have more in common than either realises, and that each can help the other to find a way forward. TO BE OR NOT TO BE is a double-bill of gay-themed monologues inspired by Shakespeare. UNSEX ME HERE is written and performed by Nigel Fairs and was previously seen at the Brighton Fringe in 2000. Actor Ben is pushing 60 and has resorted to playing Geoffrey the Amazing Rabbit at children’s parties…...until he decides to channel his inner Lady Macbeth. CALL ME OZ is written and performed by Richard Curnow In his youth, Osric, a stylish and sensitive courtier witnessed the slaughter of Hamlet and other members of the Danish Royal family at Elsinore Castle. He's not spoken about it for over forty years, but, after a session with his therapist, he embarks upon a series of media interviews triggering an unstoppable stream of revelations.
