If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can! The local Wigan choir is run by choir leader Luke Freeney. We support a number of local charities, raising money and awareness around and as a choir we also sing together with other Rock Choir singers in the nearby choirs to support national charities such as Comic Relief, Missing People and Refuge with flash mobs, fundraising events and gigs. Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Luke tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a free taster session and then to have a chat with him about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our free choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 18 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community choirs the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.
