Writing For Mental Health - Finding Comfort In Nature and Words with Zo Richards

As a suicide survivor, Zo Richards has found support for her health and wellbeing through a combination of writing, and being out in nature. In this session, Zo will share some simple ways in which she continues to support her mental health, as well as talking about the inspirations for her novel, Garden of Her Heart, in which Holly goes through her own transformational journey of recovery through giving TLC to a kitchen garden whilst on a retreat. Zo will talk about how she has honoured mental health and wellbeing in her writing of Holly as a character, and how she develops relatable characters with a heart and soul.
Zo is a mindset coach and an expert in resilience, and she has also done stand-up comedy, so this talk will be both fun and full of actionable tips for writers and anyone who wants to support their health and wellbeing.
