On Level 1 of the workshop, Kevin will cover the basics of writing sketch comedy. Additionally each student must bring in a one line premise for a comedy sketch, like "What if a guy was $10 short of being a millionaire". The group and Kevin break down each premise and help them figure how they can write it as a scene. Students can choose to only do the Level 1 - but if they join for the next day's workshop (Level 2), the students will use the notes they got the previous day and write a sketch that night, based on their premise.
