September 17th, Hot House at The Cause will host sets by Aki Oke, Gossip Queens, Gregor McMurray, Maisi and the Disco, and Povoa. Hot hot hot!
Eccentric, camp, hot, and painfully post-modern... You wanted a party?
Inspired by the sounds and styles of early-2000s New York and the rise of modern indie-pop-party-punk-disco-sleaze, You Wanted a Party? is the next big indie sleaze night, where punk is the new disco, and disco is the new punk. Think LCD Soundsystem posing with Charli XCX, on a Blue Monday, in London, calling for slacked jawed The Dare, whose powder covered face has just kissed Julian Casablancas’ vodka-lime-soda-tasting lips.
It’s electric. It’s overwhelming. It’s catastrophic.
