Hearing a visiting orchestra and conductor is like meeting a new person, or visiting a new place – part of the joy is getting to encounter something uniquely authentic; something that can’t be experienced any other way. That goes double in this concert from the Brno Philharmonic. Naturally, nothing beats the unmistakable flavour of Janáček played by his own home town orchestra!
