A funky interior and some of the sharpest staff in the city keep this place feeling on-trend despite its pedigree as a stalwart of Gillespie Place (it has been there for over a decade now).  It's a hybrid of endearing neighbourhood bistro and more-than-sushi Japanese specialist, a place for exploring new flavours, eating well and to feel looked-after by Kaori Simpson and her friendly team. The sushi is great, but go beyond to try their gyoza, curries and donburi or chirashi rice bowls.
