Age?
32

What’s his deal?
Dumfries boy made good.

Care to elaborate?
How about: ‘multi-award winning DJ, producer, singer, songwriter and remixer’? Currently standing behind the decks with a net worth of $110 million.

Wow. How do I know this guy?
Could be from 2007’s ‘The Girls’ – his first top five hit. But most likely from ‘I’m Not Alone’ – the number one that catapulted him into your head back in 2009. Or it could be his laundrylist of collaborations.

He loves a good collab, doesn’t he?
Dizzee Rascal (‘Dance Wiv Me’), Kelis (‘Bounce’), Tinie Tempah (‘Drinking from the Bottle’), John Newman (‘Blame’), Florence Welch (‘Sweet Nothing’), Ellie Goulding (‘I Need Your Love’) and Ne-Yo (‘Let’s Go’). How’s that for a resume?

And Rihanna?
And Rihanna. ‘We Found Love’, back in 2011, was Harris’ first number one on the Billboard Top 100. Their latest, this year’s ‘This is What You Came For’, ‘only’ reached number one.

He’s a bit of a T veteran, isn’t he?
Yup. This year is Calvin’s eighth time at T in the Park. He is possibly the only artist to have headlined the King Tut’s Tent, the Radio 1 Stage and the Main Stage, so safe to say he knows what the audience wants.

But his most impressive moment was a couple of years ago?
Certainly the most unexpected. Harris was joined on stage by clean-living rapper-turned-Hollywood Dad Will Smith as his unlikely hype man.

Ok. Since he’s been so prolific, would you say that without his presence there’ll be a … Blank Space?
We see what you’re doing there.
