Donny Osmond to tour the UK

The Soundtrack of My Life touring in 2017
Considering his youthful looks it's surprising to learn that Donnie Osmond is celebrating half a century in show business as he prepares to return to the UK for his first solo concert tour in four years. Over 50 years the American entertainer has sold over 100 million records, received 33 gold records and spent 333 weeks in the UK charts (that's almost six and a half years).
Earlier this year the singer released his 60th album, The Soundtrack of My Life, a collection of songs that mark keystones throughout his 58 years. And he's not just a singer. Over a remarkable career Donny has also been an actor, a TV host, a best-selling author and even a racing driver.
During the 1960s, Donny found fame as the youngest brother in the Osmonds before going solo in the 1970s when he released hit songs 'Go Away Little Girl' and 'Puppy Love'. He paired up with sister Marie for a 35-year partnership, making a TV variety show, a talk show and a long-running Las Vegas residency, from which he's taking a break for this tour.
Speaking about the tour, Donny said, 'I am thrilled and delighted to be coming back to the UK to perform in January. The UK audiences have always been very special to me.'
