The X-Files new season: the best Twitter reactions

The universe reacts to news of Mulder and Scully’s return
The truth is out there friends, and we may very well learn it some time next year, as a new season of The X-Files has been announced.
Fox has ordered a new six-episode ‘event series’ which will be helmed by Chris Carter, a writer on the original show.
The sci-fi classic, which first aired in 1993, stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI agents Mulder and Scully, who set out to investigate a number of paranormal goings on and unsolved mysteries.
The show racked up some pretty impressive statistics during its time on air, with over 200 episodes, 16 Emmys, five Golden Globes and two movies, but let’s be honest: that’s all nothing compared to the size of its fanbase.
We’ve rounded-up some of the best Twitter reactions to the news of the show’s return for your viewing pleasure. Believe, y’all.

Is anyone else waiting for Fox to say "Got you - April Fools!" re announcement X-Files is back with same cast?

And of course a new X-Files series means more UFOs. They've rather gone away lately, so it'd be good if people saw a few more.

X-Files 2015:
"Scully, we need to investigate what's in this safe."
"Are you on Reddit, Mulder?"
"Yeah."

Hmm. X-Files: so everyone has an iPhone. All UFO pictures are clear and unambiguous with geolocation. Each episode is about 4 minutes.
