Where to buy real Christmas trees in and around Glasgow

Including locations, prices, delivery options and a guide to tree types
The festive season is nearly upon us and living in Glasgow doesn’t mean you can’t find a locally sourced real Christmas tree to decorate your home. As well as centres that let you hand pick trees, many now offer an online ordering system and home delivery service. With Glasgow City Council upping their recycling facilities to accommodate old trees come January, we’ve chosen the best places to find your own slice of nature in and around the city this Christmas.

Lodgepole Pine: Strongly scented slender and straight tree with yellow-tinged green colour.
Nordmann Fir: Has good needle retention and rich green soft needles.
Norway Spruce: The most traditional looking tree due to its delicate foliage, with a mild scent.
Noble Fir: The lower branches are exposed as the bright green needles naturally turn up.
