Where to see bonfire night fireworks displays near Wolverhampton 2019

What time are fireworks displays in the city centre, Bilston, Shifnal and Telford
Celebrate Bonfire Night this year at one of the events taking place in and around Wolverhampton. Not far from the city centre, head to Wolverhampton Racecourse on Gorsebrook Road for a family-friendly bonfire and fireworks night (Sat 2 Nov). This year sees a fireworks display for the kids start at 7pm, with the bonfire lit to warm cold hands at 7.30pm. The main display is scheduled to take place at 8.30pm.
To the north east in Bloxwich, the Bloxwich Bonfire & Fireworks Display takes place at King George V Memorial Playing Fields (Tue 5 Nov), with a bonfire lit at 7pm and a display at 7.30pm.
One of the region's largest gatherings is taking place at Weston Park in Shifnal (Sun 3 Nov), where there's not just a bonfire and fireworks, but also a fun fair, food stalls and a bar to keep everyone happy. Gates are at 3pm, bonfire lit at 5.30pm, with fireworks at 6pm and 7.30pm. In nearby Telford, wrap up warm before you head to fireworks night at open-air museum Blists Hill Victorian Town (Sat 2 Nov) when the townsfolk will be celebrating Guy Fawkes' foiled Gunpowder Plot with a family fireworks display at 7.30pm.
For those in the Dudley area, the legendary Himley Bonfire and Fireworks (Sat 2 Nov) kick off with a bonfire at 7.45pm before a spectacular display lights up the night sky at 8.30pm. Gates open at 4.30pm and there are funfair rides, seasonal refreshments and Heart FM providing the tunes. On Fri 1 Nov, Willenhall Memorial Park hosts a bonfire and fireworks display, with rides for the kids and stalls.
