Neil Gaiman to visit London and Edinburgh with The Truth Is A Cave In The Black Mountains

Tickets for the live multimedia readings, which will take place in July, are on sale now
Neil Gaiman has announced dates in Edinburgh and London this summer for his new multimedia show, The Truth Is A Cave In The Black Mountains.
The shows, which will take place on Fri 4 & Sat 5 Jul at the Barbican Centre, London and on Sun 6 Jul at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, will feature a live reading of the titular story by Gaiman, accompanied by illustrations by noted artist Eddie Campbell (who collaborated with Alan Moore on graphic novel From Hell) and a score by FourPlay String Quartet, both of which have been created specifically for the show.
The dates come on the back of a new publication of the story on Tue 17 Jun – which will be a four-colour, enhanced edition, illustrated by Campbell – and the US premiere performances of the show in New York and San Francisco at the end of June.
The best selling author of American Gods and the Sandman comic book series will also be appearing at the British Library in London on Fri 16 May as part of Neil Gaiman and Tori Amos: Cosmic Connection, where he’ll be joined by friend and collaborator Amos, and will talk about his work, influences, and passions.
