WATCH: New clip from the Jackass team's Bad Grandpa
The comedy stars Johnny Knoxville as an old man on a road trip across the states with his grandson
Johnny Knoxville enters a world of pain once more in this new clip from Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. The film, which blends fictional narrative and hidden camera stunt footage, is Knoxville's latest collaboration with long-term Jackass mucker Jeff Tremaine (who wrote several episodes from the original series and directed each of the spin-off movies so far).
In this instalment of the franchise we see Knoxville in the guise of Irving Zisman, a Jewish pensioner tasked with taking his eight-year-old grandson (Jackson Nicoll) on a road trip across America. Whilst this plot line will most likely be arbitrary to the actual goings on, it should provide an intriguing departure from the plotless, stunt-driven antics of the previous Jackass films.
Check out the new Bad Grandpa clip below to see Knoxville put his body on the line (again) as astonished onlookers witness him trying out an adjustable bed. We'd advise looking away now if you suffer from back problems…
Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa goes on general release from Wed 23 Oct.
