New trailer for Scorsese and DiCaprio’s The Wolf of Wall Street

Strutting new production also starring Jonah Hill, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler and Matthew McConaughey
The trailer has just arrived for Martin Scorsese’s next directorial effort, The Wolf of Wall Street. Based on the memoir of the same name by criminal stock broker Jordan Belfort, it tells the story we’re only too well acquainted with in the days of austerity: of Wall Street fat cats living large of the backs of risky investments paid for with other people’s money.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio in his fifth collaboration with Scorsese, with the supporting cast filled out by Jonah Hill, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler and Matthew McConaughey (who, from the looks of the trailer, looks to be continuing his line of uniquely disturbed anti-heroes). The trailer, as a Scorsese production, also features a typically strutting soundtrack which, like the plot, is very of the moment – Kanye West’s ‘Black Skinhead’ taken from his highly anticipated new album Yeezus.
The whole thing strikes us as a mix of Goodfellas' bad behaviour + The Great Gatsby's excess + Wall Street's... well, location. Let us know what you think in the comments.
The Wolf of Wall Street will be released on Fri 17 Jan 2014.
