The five date tour, promoting new album Push The Sky Away, will call in cities around the UK

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds have announced a short but sweet five date UK tour for autumn, 2013. The band will be playing across October and November after a summer of festival appearances at California's Coachella and Primavera in Spain and Portugal.

The tour follows the release of their new album Push the Sky Away on 10 Feb, their first in 5 years. They launched the album at a sold out concert, complete with a choir and strings at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. The launch also included a short film by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, who previously directed the promo music video for the band's single Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!, documenting the making of the album.

The UK shows begin in London with two performances at the London Apollo on Sat 26 & Sun 27 Oct. The tour continues in Manchester Apollo on Wed 30 Oct and then up to Scotland in Glasgow Barrowlands on Thu 31 Oct and finally, Edinburgh's Usher Hall on Fri 1 Nov.

However, if you can't wait that long, there will be a live stream of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds performing their sold-out LA show on Thu 21st Feb on the Rockfeedback Youtube channel.
