The Who have announced a UK tour of their album Quadrophenia, which calls in at Glasgow’s SECC on Wed 12 Jun. The surviving members of the band, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, have announced they will be playing the entirety of the iconic mod album, with the addition of some extra songs at the end of their performance – hence the name of the tour, Quadrophenia and more.

The gig will feature some powerful images shown on huge screens all over the SECC, aiming to replace the narrative used in previous stage versions of the 1973 album.

The two original members of the band will be joined on stage by Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey (drums) and Townshend's younger brother Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), as well as Pino Palladino (bass), John Corey (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals).
