Django Django to headline NME Awards Tour 2013

Miles Kane, Palma Violets and Peace also on tour, which will take place in February 2013
Django Django, Miles Kane, Palma Violets and Peace have been announced as the lineup for the 2012 NME Awards Tour.
The headline slot for Django Django follows wide-spread praise for the psychedelic indie pop quartet's eponymous debut album and Mercury Prize nomination. Former Rascal and Last Shadow Puppet Miles Kane will be the main support of the tour, while Peace (who have recently toured with the Manic Street Preachers and the Mystery Jets) and Palma Violets (currently recording their album with Pulp bassist Steve Mackey) will occupy the remaining slots.
The tour will kick off 7 February 2013 in Newcastle, stopping in Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Nottingham, Liverpool, Norwich, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Bournemouth and Brighton, before ending in London O2 Academy Brixton on 23 February. The NME Tour has helped launch the careers of artists such as Florence + Machine, Killers and Arctic Monkeys, who Alex Turner collaborated with Miles Kane in The Last Shadow Puppets.
Tickets will be available from 9am, 28 November at nme.com/tickets.
