X-Factor mentor and award-winning singer Gary Barlow will be coming to Edinburgh in November as part of his 2012 UK and Ireland tour. After two sold-out shows in London's Royal Albert Hall, Barlow was eager to get touring again: ‘I’m really excited about these dates. Playing live is my favourite thing and I haven't played a solo show for over a year now. Last year playing two London shows was brilliant, we all had such a good time, so I thought right let's get out and see the rest of the country!’ Following success with Take That, Barlow has received critical acclaim for his solo albums, organised the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert and has been awarded an OBE for his contributions to music. He is also head judge on TV talent show The X Factor.

Barlow will be headlining at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Wednesday 21 November, with tickets available from 10am Friday 19th October.
