Take One Action Film Festival Scottish Tour
The political film festival is set to travel around the country throughout February 2012
The Take One Action Film Festival - Scotland's biggest film festival dedicated to cinema with a political edge - is to tour Central and Northern Scotland throughout February.
Among the films scheduled to screen on the tour is Even the Rain, the Gael Garcia Bernal-starring drama written by Take One Action patron (and regular Ken Loach collaborator) Paul Laverty. Anthony Baxter's crowd-pleasing, tycoon-bashing doc You've Been Trumped is also on the bill, as is the hard-hitting Blood in the Mobile, exposing the effects of telecommunications industry exploitation in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. American eco-doc HomeGrown and climate change documentary There Once was an Island complete the programme.
