The Slutcracker's Tim Key answers 5 questions

On fame, what bugs him about the festival and dead comics
Tim Key reprises his award-winning Slutcracker show for a snatch of dates. Here he provides the answers we wanted for our somewhat tarty Q&A.
What five words best describe your show this year?
Poetical, dignified, physical, awful, beautiful.
Which comic should be more famous by the end of August?
For someone who weighs more than a ton I would say the brilliant Greg Davies. For someone who weighs less than a ton, Maeve Higgins. She is fantastic and will be loved by everyone. The Boy With Tape On His Face has also got a very beguiling act.
What bugs you most about Edinburgh in August?
I think it bugs me that I put a thousand pints of beer into me during August and then feel woozy and lethargic in September and October.
Which dead comic do you wish was still alive and working today?
Tony Hancock and Mitch Hedberg. I think it will be fiddly to organise this though, particularly with Tony.
Is there a rumour you’d like to start about yourself?
Brilliant at football. Courageous and unbending in the tackle but also with the ability to glide past a defender effortlessly, making them look foolish. And with a howitzer of a shot on him.
Pleasance Dome, 556 6550, 16–21 Aug, 12.15am, £12–£13.
