The shortlist of films and judges for the 2009 Jim Poole Scottish Short Film Award are below. The awards will take place on Sunday 8 November at 1.00pm at The Cameo Cinema, Edinburgh. Entry is free and tickets are only available on the day itself.

Launched in 1999 by The Cameo, the award comes with a top prize of £1,000 courtesy of Scottish Screen and an audience award of £500 contributed by The Belmont in Aberdeen.
