Morris Chestnut and Taraji P Henson star as an estranged couple who attempt to find happiness with others only to realise what they are missing. Duke and screenwriter Brian Bird fail to capitalise on some interesting ethical dilemmas. General release from Fri 17 Apr.

Observe and Report (15) 86min ●●● Seth Rogen’s comedy is a misjudged character study of a delusional shopping mall security officer. Writer and director Jody Hill can’t quite get the balance right between some dark material and Rogen’s jovial Canadian everyman persona. Still there’s plenty to enjoy in this distinctive fusion of Taxi Driver and The Big Lebowski. General release from Fri 24 Apr.
