To help you enjoy a fun-filled night at the theatre, we've rounded up some of the best touring shows resuming performances in 2021 and 2022. Take a look and start booking those babysitters – you're about to have an unstoppable night out.

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is grooving its way back into theatres this year to woo crowds all over again. Telling the timeless tale of Baby as she falls head over heels with rebellious dance instructor Johnny, this stage adaptation of the 80s film favourite features all your favourite tunes, including 'Hungry Eyes', 'Hey! Baby', 'Do You Love Me?' and the pulse-pounding '(I've Had), The Time Of My Life'. Frankly, if you don't swoon over Johnny then you may not have a heart at all.

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is touring the UK from Tuesday 7 September - Saturday 16 October 2021. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Heathers The Musical

Heathers the movie is one of the most abrasively funny films to emerge from the teen genre in the 1980s, with a dark sense of humour that would make the squeaky clean kids from The Breakfast Club wince. Heathers The Musical followed suit on its release in 2010, and has since cemented itself as the snarky teen of the West End. Want rebel energy with your showstoppers? Then this is the musical for you.

Heathers The Musical is touring the UK until Saturday 11 December. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Grease: The Musical

There's never been a better time to experience the high-velocity joy of Grease: The Musical. The dreamy summer romance of Danny and Sandy features the classic tracks 'Summer Nights', 'Greased Lightnin'', 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' and 'You're the One That I Want', amongst many more fan favourites.

Grease: The Musical is touring the UK until Saturday 20 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Jersey Boys

A true classic of the West End, Jersey Boys tells the incomparable inside story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, a band whose stream of hits included 'Sherry', 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'Oh What A Night', 'Walk Like A Man', 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' and 'Working My Way Back To You'. This Olivier award-winning saga is a rock 'n' roll classic you don't want to miss.

Jersey Boys is touring the UK from Wednesday 24 November 2021 - Saturday 29 October 2022. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert: The Musical

Featuring glitzy costumes, unbeatable disco tunes, spectacular dances, and a heart-warming tale of friendship that won't leave a dry eye in the house, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert: The Musical is a must-see for the drag enthusiast in your life. Based on the hit movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, this is a singalong experience guaranteed to leave a smile on your face.

Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert: The Musical is touring the UK until Saturday 6 November. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

The Book Of Mormon

From the demented minds of South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, The Book Of Mormon sets its satirical sights on religion, seeing two hapless young Mormon missionaries as they preach to the inhabitants of a small Ugandan village. The Washington Post has called this 'the best musical of this century,' and we'd be hard-pressed to disagree.

The Book Of Mormon resumes touring from Thursday 6 January 2022. Click here for performance dates and tickets.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie

Capturing the heartache and joy of adolescence, Everybody's Talking About Jamie sees the titular Jamie, a 16-year-old teenager in a small working class town, as he becomes a drag queen and bats off prejudice along the way. Exuberant, inspiring and courageous, this is the musical for the modern generation.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie will tour from Tuesday 14 September 2021 - Saturday 30 April 2022. Click here for performance dates and tickets.
