After ten years as Director of BAFTA Scotland, Alison Forsyth has decided the time is right to move on and will be leaving on 30 April.

Under Forsyth's stewardship, the organisation has seen membership numbers grow, and the annual BAFTA Scotland Awards have been established.

The annual Scottish Students on Screen event and the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards have also spun off from the main awards.

Forsyth's successor will be appointed in early summer 2008.
