After the success of its inaugural year in 2018, The List is again taking its famous festival party to London where it will also launch the EdFest.com programme. Taking place at Dingwalls in Camden on Wednesday 22 May, the event gives culture lovers in the Capital a taste of what to expect at this year's Edinburgh Festivals.

The party offers the chance to see previews of exciting new shows from Assembly, Gilded Balloon, Pleasance and Underbelly, with comedian Marlon Davis hosting. Johnnie Walker and Truman's will also be on hand with custom drinks to make sure it's an unforgettable night. There will also be roaming performances from Tom Brace magic and Pamela's Palace character theatre. Find out more about who's playing the party and where you can see them this August in Edinburgh.

Marlon Davis
The happy-go-lucky British stand-up has appeared on Live at the Apollo and Comedy Central's Comedy Store Live with his own brand of charismatic, upbeat comedy. Now he's back at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe with a brand new show titled Emotional Black Male. He's on hosting duties for this year's party.
Underbelly – Bristo Square, 6.50pm

Ginger Johnson
No, it's not the Nigerian percussionist of the same name, it's the East London drag star whose style is based on Lucile Ball. In her Fringe offering, Happy Place, she aims to help the audience escape from the doom and gloom of reality and asks how far people are willing to run from it. Described as part cabaret confessional, part Sesame Street special, her show will surely brighten up your night.
Pleasance Dome, 9.40pm

Flo and Joan
Flo and Joan are the musical comedy duo known for their viral videos. The pair have consistently sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2016 and this year they are taking inspiration from BBC's Bros documentary with the show Flo & Joan: Before the Screaming Starts. Expect dark and waggish songs and some nods to the bizarre, but brilliant, documentary.

Sex Shells
Self-described as 'London's campest musical sketch comedy threesome', this group come armed with original music, surreal sketches, wayward choreography and rewrites of your fave pop hits. At last year's Fringe, they brought audiences skits like Whitney Houston at the self-service checkout and Simon and Garfunkel at the GUM clinic.
Underbelly, 9pm

Maisie Adam
The relatable Yorkshire lass was a 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer nominee with show Living on the Edge and also won the Amused Moose National New Comic award. She's back this year with her second offering Hang Fire, where she's on a mission to work out who's to blame and for what. You'll need to see it to find out.
Gilded Balloon Teviot - Billiard Room, 7pm

Sara Barron
As another 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer nominee, Sara received rave reviews for her first Fringe outing and has recently finished two sell-out runs at London's Soho Theatre. In her new show, Enemies Closer, the American confronts the opposing forces of kindness and evil, ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends, and friends and enemies.
