Resonating with hope, her journals and emails that provide the basis for the script brim with the naive idealism of youth; she can make a difference, she just needs to be there.

Alan Rickman directs Josephine Taylor in an impassioned performance conveying strong political conviction, while resisting the urge to use the stage as a soapbox.
