Armed with music so sunny it may give you skin cancer, George Ezra has established himself as the master of arena-friendly tunes that make your mum go ‘d’awww’. His mega-hit ‘Shotgun’ is so inanely cheerful that scientists have found that it may cause mania within anyone predisposed to sharing inspirational quotes on Instagram. And this summer, the nation’s foremost human SAD lamp is hitting the road with a stonkingly massive arena tour in most major venues across the UK.
Most of these dates are near-guaranteed to sell out in minutes, so read on to find out where and when Brit-award winner George Ezra will be playing, how much tickets will cost, what pre-sales are available, what the support acts are, what'll likely be on his setlist, and more.

Where can I buy George Ezra tickets?

How much are tickets for George Ezra's tour?
Although the price of Ezra’s shows is yet to be announced, his headline show at London’s Finsbury Park (for which tickets are already on sale) is a reliable benchmark on how much tickets are likely to cost.
For that event, full price tickets will set you back £55 with VIP packages costing £93.50. Although we can’t guarantee that tickets for his tour will cost the same, it’s a solid ballpark figure.
Who'll support Ezra when he hits the road?
For the time-being, Ezra’s team are remaining tight-lipped about the support for his tour. But his Finsbury Parks show will feature support from light-rockers Blossoms, rising pop star Mimi Webb, Taylor Swift-alike Holly Humberstone, rollicking indie act The Big Moon, delicate soul singer Mychelle and the London International Gospel Choir.
While nothing has been confirmed, there’s every chance that an act from this veritable gold mine of a line-up will join Ezra on his jolly jaunt across the country. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more details when they surface.
What can I expect to hear at the gigs?
Look up the term ‘people-pleaser’ in the dictionary and you’ll see Ezra’s face beaming back at you, so there’s little chance of him surprising fans with a left-turn into experimental jazz when he hits the road. Instead, the musician-cum-children's presenter will delight every little girl and boy with the expansive collection of hits he’s amassed from his first two albums, Wanted On Voyage and Staying At Tamara’s.
Also on the horizon is Ezra’s third studio album Gold Rush Kid, set for release on Friday 10 June. If the album’s lead single ‘Green Green Grass’ is anything to go by, the album promises to be another collection of unabashedly joyful earworms with choruses machine-tooled to be bellowed out while leathered at a summer festival.
Speaking of the album’s title, Ezra says, ‘The Gold Rush Kid? That’s me. Every song sounds like me. That’s what ties them together.’ A simple premise for a simple songwriter, then, so don’t go into Gold Rush Kid expecting a rich metatextual subtext on Jacques Lacan.

What else can I expect from the tour?
Following in the footsteps of Coldplay’s plans to foster a carbon neutral touring plans, Ezra has partnered with YouTube Music to be their Sustainability Partner for 2022.
Ezra says of the partnership, ‘I am conscious that creating, touring and promoting a record has an impact on the environment, so I am delighted to announce I will be working with YouTube Music as their Sustainability Partner for 2022.
‘They have very generously provided a significant financial contribution to support a cause of my choosing; this is going to be The National Trust, who are working hard to reverse the decline in nature and reduce the impact of climate change by planting trees and restoring landscapes. Together, we’ll directly use this money to plant 17,000 trees across the UK.’
On board with the partnership is The National Trust, which has committed to planting or establishing 20 million trees covering an area the size of Birmingham as part of their plan to become net zero by 2030. The carbon benefits from the 17,000 trees will go towards the charity’s own net zero ambitions.
So, if you want to help neutralise the impact of gigs on the environment, this is a hot ticket that won’t burn up the planet.
