My Neighbour Totoro to be performed at London's Barbican theatre this winter: how to get tickets

A live action adaptation of beloved family anime My Neighbour Totoro will be performed at London’s Barbican theatre this winter. Priority booking for the show begins on Monday 16 May. Tickets go on general sale on Wednesday 18 May.
A bona fide classic from the animation powerhouse Studio Ghibli, My Neighbour Totoro follows siblings Mei and Satsuki as they deal with their mother’s hospitalisation and befriend a menagerie of surreal and adorable creatures, including the now iconic giant rabbit Totoro.
Adapted by the Royal Shakespeare Company and Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi, who created the original score for the film, the production will feature ground-breaking puppetry that brings the magical cast of character to life.
My Neighbour Totoro will play a strictly limited 15-week season from Saturday 8 October 2022 until Saturday 1 January 2023 and promises to mesmerise all generations.
