Cockerney cheeky chappy and indie-rock veteran Jamie T has announced his first live show in five years. Those who pre-order Jamie T's new album by 5pm on Thursday 5 May will be able to buy tickets for the intimate show when they go on sale at 9am on Friday 6 May. 

The gig will take place at London’s Subterania on Wednesday 11 May and comes as the singer-songwriter teases his latest studio album The Theory Of Whatever with new single ‘The Old Style Raiders’. 

The Theory of Whatever is his first album since 2016’s Trick and is set for release on Friday 29 July via Polydor.

Speaking of the album, Jamie T explained, ‘I was struggling to find my direction with the record for a few years, really. 

‘I went home one day, and I found this track that I had recorded, pretty much fully finished. And I was really upset, because I realised that I'd spent the last six months asking other people to tell me if something was good. Then I heard this track and I just immediately knew I'd kind of found my path.’
