Alt-pop’s most exciting young star Rina Sawayama has announced a handful of UK tour dates for October 2022. Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday 27 May. Find a detailed list of her tour dates at the bottom of this article. 

Earlier this month, Sawayama announced the title of her second album Hold The Girl, set for release on Friday 2 September, and released the lead single for the album ‘This Hell’. 

Speaking of the track, Sawayama says, ‘The past couple of years I’ve been listening to lots of female country singers and wanted to write a euphoric and tongue in cheek country pop song. Country music at its core to me represents comfort, brilliant storytelling and authentic expression of the writer’s reality. 

‘I put in as many iconic pop culture moments as I can, but the song is more than that.’
